A betting strategy should tell you how much to risk, which prices you will accept and when to stop. It cannot remove uncertainty from a football match. Its job is to keep one result from deciding what you do next.
Set a separate bankroll
Your bankroll is the amount set aside for betting. It should not include rent, food, debt payments o money needed soon. Once you choose that amount, record it before placing the first bet. This gives every later result a clear reference point.
A fixed unit is easier to manage than changing the stake after each result. For example, one unit might equal 1% of the starting bankroll. A higher stake should require a written reason, not frustration after a loss o excitement after a win.
Judge the price as well as the pick
A prediction can be reasonable at one price and poor at another. Record the odds shown with the tip and the odds you actually received. If the market moves sharply before you place the bet, skip it o reassess it. Do not treat a team name and a market price as the same decision.
Keep a useful record
For each selection, save the date, league, market, odds, stake, score and result. Add the source and a short note when the price o line changed. Review performance over a meaningful sample instead of reacting to a winning weekend.

Decide your limits in advance
